Dr. Crain is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Creighton University School of Dentistry. She received a D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, WA, and an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and the Bloch School of Management. Her area of doctoral study and research was organizational development and change in dental education. Dr. Crain has held faculty positions at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, OR, the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, and senior administrative positions at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC, and the Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in South Jordan, UT. Dr. Crain is a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and an active member of the American Dental Education Association. In her free time, Dr. Crain enjoys spending time with her family in Kansas City, playing the piano, hiking, and traveling.
