Assistant Professor

Dr. Toma currently serves as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice and the on-site coordinator for the Phoenix pharmacy pathway at Creighton. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences, Henderson, NV. He completed a PGY-1 Specialty Pharmacy Residency at Optum Specialty Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Toma is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), a Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP), and a Certified HIV Pharmacist (AAHIVP). He was recognized as a Distinguished Young Pharmacist by the Arizona Pharmacy Association (AzPA), named the 2023 Alumni Roadrunner from Roseman University, and awarded the Educator of the Year at Creighton University for the academic years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
