Post-Graduate Service & Study in Music Ministry

House of Brigid (Teach Bhríde): Young adults serving the Catholic Church in Ireland through music and catechesis. Everything from religious education classes for elementary students to diocesan choral workshops, radio shows to music at Sunday Mass, but most of all a ministry of presence from faith-filled twenty-somethings. 1 or 2-year volunteer positions available in Wexford or Dublin. Applications due in early January for the service year starting in late August. Ask Molly Mattingly for more info, she loves to talk about it!

Several universities offer advanced degrees in sacred music. Check out the Master of Sacred Music at the University of Notre Dame, the Institute of Sacred Music at Catholic University of America, or the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University to start. These programs are intended for those who have studied music performance and are preparing for a career in music ministry.
