BOOK BY TWO FACULTY MEMBERS WINS FIRST PLACE
Theology professors Todd A. Salzman and Michael G. Lawler were awarded first place for the Catholic Book Award in the theology category by the Catholic Press Association for their book “The Sexual Person: Toward a Renewed Catholic Anthropology” Georgetown University Press, 2008.

Salzman is the chairman of the Department of Theology, and Lawler is professor emeritus of theology at Creighton University. Their work highlights the various issues of sexual morality in present-day society and is considered “a tour de force” by the Catholic Press Association.

NEW OPPORTUNITY: A 5-Year B.A./M.A. Program  
The Theology Department is proud to announce a new program in which students may earn a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Theology in five years. The program also allows participants to be certified as instructors of religious education in the state of Nebraska.

NEW VIDEO: See a short web video created by Creighton professor of Theology John O'Keefe about the experience of Creighton students in the study abroad program in the Dominican Republic, Encuentro Dominicano (Dominican Encounter).  This brief film follows some of those students through a portion of their semester and portrays the values and goals of the program.
