Five programs provide college assistance

Creighton University's Educational Opportunity/TRiO Programs strive to give first generation, low income, and underrepresented minority students the best possible chance to pursue higher education. Creighton sponsors five TRiO programs each funded through a competitive Department of Education grant process and serves over 2,100 students from the Omaha metro area in providing information and strategies on applying to colleges, financial literacy, career exploration, academic support and leadership training. The TRiO programs collectively work with students across the educational spectrum: 800 middle school students, 200 high school students, 160 Creighton students, and nearly 1000 adult learners. A brief description of each program is below with hyperlinks to each program's website.
