Glimpses, by Fr. Larry Gillick, S.J.

The eye, the ear, the finger tip take into our minds "Sound bites" to which we listen or neglect.  This weekly column of Glimpses will begin with a smell or taste, a touch or noise which has caused a smile or frown or gasp or stoppage in my play of life.

The column is based on the Ignatian insight that God's love's-labors are lost only on the inattentive and that God's love's-labors are repeated in the multiform of creation and relatinships to catch our attention.  Each column will be just a glimpse which tripped my snooze alarm and invited me to wake up and live a little more deeply,

Fr. Larry Gillick, S.J.
