1962 Printing block for an advertisement for "Three Fables of Love." 2.5" x 3.25" x .85. Unknown source.
Here is one of the more fascinating and curious items in our collection. By contrast with the advertisements we have, this piece is small, perhaps large enough to use in an advertisement in a newspaper or magazine. The format is similar to the black-and-white advertisements that we have. As with those, it is curious that the colored movie advertisement spells out "Three" and the others all have "3". I have tried "mirroring" the images to help read what it would have said in print. I have not had luck using this block to print!
