1980? Two miniature plates “The FABLES of AESOP” by Caverswall Collectors. BW and “The Stag Looking into the Water.” 3” diameter. Source unknown.
The pictures represent apt choices of a key moment in the fable. The boy is pleading for help as the wolf approaches the sheep, and the stag is noticing how noble a creature he has become. Gold leaf trim. A quick search on the web did not reveal any members of this series.
