Günes Hasan Ezop'tan Masallar

2009 Agustos Bocegi ile Karinca (Grasshopper and Ant).  Nilhan Öz.  Illustrations by Hasan Education.  Pamphlet.  Istanbul: Günes Hasan Ezop'tan Masallar 1: Günes Yayincilik.  $5 from thegreatcollectors through Ebay, June, '22.

Here is a 16-page two-staple pamphlet.  As I have catalogued Turkish pamphlets lately, this is by far the series with the most exact color illustrations.  Well done!  The cursive text is unusual for us.  Might it have been better for children in Turkey?  There are three fables here: GA; "Wolf and Goat"; and FC.  Morals appear in red at each fable's end. The cover and first illustration may be the best: the singing grasshopper is contrasted with the sweating ant.

2009 Altin Yumurtlayan Kaz (Golden Layer).  Nilhan Öz.  Illustrations by Hasan Education.  Pamphlet.  Istanbul: Günes Hasan Ezop'tan Masallar 3: Günes Yayincilik.  $5 from thegreatcollectors through Ebay, June, '22.

2009 Kaplumbağa ile Tavşan (Tortoise and Hare).  Nilhan Öz.  Illustrations by Hasan Education.  Pamphlet.  Istanbul: Günes Hasan Ezop'tan Masallar 4: Günes Yayincilik.  $5 from thegreatcollectors through Ebay, June, '22.

2009 Kötü Huylu Kurbağa (Bad-Tempered Frog).  Nilhan Öz.  Illustrations by Hasan Education.  Pamphlet.  Istanbul: Günes Hasan Ezop'tan Masallar 8: Günes Yayincilik.

There are four fables here: FM; "The Hares and the Frogs"; UP; and "The Eagle and the Crow."  The visual artists are, I believe, at their best with the first fable.  They exploit well its various moods and fascinating actions, including the final "liftoff."
