Publications About This Collection
Since the time in 1996 that the collection was given to Creighton University, several articles have talked about the collection.
An article then in Creighton "Window" celebrated the coming of the collection to the University: "A Fabulous Gift."
Now You Know Media in 2013 published the 12-DVD series "Fables and Faith: Understanding the Gospel with Aesop’s Fables." An article in "Creighton Magazine" in 2014 celebrated the publication of this DVD in its article "Faith and Fables."
A lengthy article in Dutch appeared, beautifully illustrated, in 2021 in the yearbook Tiecelijn: “Verassing! Het fabelachtige verhaal von een versamelaar” (“Surprise! The Midwestern Province of the Society of Jesus in its "Jesuits Magazine" in 2024 published "Once Upon a Time: An Omaha Jesuit’s collection of fables and related items is second to none."
We printed a booklet "Engaging Some Great Fables" in 2025. It is available for purchase at Archives@Creighton.edu.
