Clara Hasemeier

A trip to Quito, Ecuador, and to Ecuador’s Yasuni National Park, showed St. Louis native Clara Hasemeier that the effort to boost sustainability is underway worldwide. The Creighton sustainability major, who is scheduled to graduate in May 2024, says a study trip to the South America nation this past July, made possible by Creighton’s global contacts and by its summer study program, introduced her to a new culture, to new people and built confidence that her goals are achievable as she pursues a career in the field of sustainability.
