Freshman Global Ambassador Program

The Global Ambassador Program is a cohort-style opportunity to connect with fellow incoming freshmen students at Creighton - domestic and international. This peer program is specifically intended for students who feel called to engage in a globally conversant campus by participating in various off-campus excursions in Omaha, events, and social programs to learn more about the world’s most pressing issues and the many cultures in our community.

This program is rooted in experiential discovery; by breaking down barriers, we learn from one another. As newcomers to campus—from all over the world – this will allow you make meaningful friendships with like-minded people during your freshman transition. From trips to community gardens, to local hikes, even celebrations of multicultural festivals like the Lunar New Year; you will be engaged in some of the most diverse spaces on Creighton’s campus.

If you are an incoming freshman Creighton student and wish to join the Global Ambassador Program, please e-mail lucyhancock@creighton.edu. Additionally, if you are an upperclassmen student who wishes to informally mentor these students, or simply attend some of the outings/events, email Lucy as well.
