Campus Ministry

Through the mission of Creighton - a Catholic, Jesuit University- Campus Ministry serves the faith life of the campus.

Through retreats, prayer, workshops, service, liturgies, inter-faith prayer, Christian Life Communities and more, Campus Ministry exists to assist students in their spirituality and faith growth through both personal and group formation.

Ignatian Formation and Ministry for Faculty and Staff will offer mission formation, retreats, pastoral/spiritual outreach and provide a place where faculty and staff can find a listening ear and an understanding heart when faced with crisis or challenge.

The Collaborative Ministry Office exists to provide spiritual formation opportunities that strengthen personal and communal growth.  Its activities are consistent with the mission of Creighton University to orient and educate the Creighton faculty and staff about the centrality of the Christian, Jesuit mission of the University that includes Ignatian spirituality.

Collaborative Ministry's Online Ministry serves the faith life of people on campus and around the world.

The Deglman Center for Ignatian Spirituality promotes, explains and encourages the Ignatian identity of this mission of education. Father Gillick and Father Carlson preach to groups of all sizes and meet individually with those who desire to grow more deeply in their own spiritual lives.

The John P. Schlegel Center for Service and Justice (SCSJ) awakens hearts and lives of solidarity to build a more just world. Retreat Center

The Creighton University Retreat Center is a full-service center built on the Jesuit tradition of spiritual direction based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuits.

The center is located 45 miles from Creighton near Griswold, Iowa and is set in 153 wooded acres. It provides an assortment of private, double and group accommodations for more than 100 people.  

Creighton University Retreat Center welcomes Creighton University students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as all others seeking a place of rest or retreat, including members of religious communities, parishes, school groups, organizations and private individuals.
