Biography
After graduating from Idaho State University with a zoology major, Karen Bremer went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating in 1994. After medical school, she entered the UNMC/Creighton psychiatry program and after 2 years, transferred to the UNMC/Creighton neurology program. She finished her residency in 1999. Karen worked one year in Kearney, Nebraska for a multi-specialty group. Returning to Omaha, she joined the Creighton neurology department and started specializing in headache management. She is currently the director of the CHI Health Headache Clinic and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties in Headache Medicine.
Dr. Bremer sees patients in clinic and at Bergan, Immanuel, and Midlands hospitals, and treats patients with headaches and other neurologic conditions.
