Incoming class stats; 1,000+ freshmen, 12% 1st gen, 44% male, 56% female, 40% coming from 400+ miles away, 21 international students and 13 states with more than 10 students each.

Nearly 1,050 freshmen will begin their first year at Creighton University on Aug. 15 — marking a historic decade of enrolling over 1,000 students for each freshman class.

For the Class of 2027, 575 students will be in the College of Arts and Sciences, 330 in the Heider College of Business and over 140 in the College of Nursing.

Following in the footsteps of recent graduates, the Class of 2027 is academically impressive and geographically diverse. More than 1/3 of the incoming students were ranked in the top 10% of their high school class. Over half of the class is interested in pursuing a professional degree in one of Creighton’s professional programs.

These newest Bluejays come from across the country and world. From the U.S., our top represented states are Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Hawaii, Arizona, California and South Dakota. Our largest contingency — 240 from Nebraska — will help welcome other students to Omaha.
