Appointments Recommended

The John P. Fahey Career Center, as a part of the Creighton EDGE, is committed to assisting students and alumni in exploring, developing, and implementing career goals that reflect their unique roles in the world of work and their commitment to a life of service to others.

Students will have the ability to:

  • Explore major and career opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of the world of work
  • Implement career goals

The Career Center engages students in several ways to meet these goals:

Career Counseling Appointments

Meet with a Career Counselor to discuss anything from deciding on a major or career of interest to applying for a job or graduate school. Counselors can help you discover what you desire to do and assist you in accomplishing your goals.

Annual Career Events

The Career Center hosts a variety of events each year that aid in your professional and personal development. Opportunities include etiquette dinners, career and graduate school fairs, networking events, employer office hours, and much more. Check out the calendar for upcoming events.

This online career management system helps you manage your resumes, cover letters and other employment-related documents. It provides access to the Employer Directory with more than 5,000+ employers nationally. You can search and apply for jobs and internships, schedule on-campus interviews, and access career events at Creighton University.

Career Resources

The Career Center provides resources no matter where you are at in your career development, beginning with career assessments and counseling to help you explore options, along with resources to connect you with alumni and other professionals to learn more about career paths. If you are in the process of applying for internships or jobs, there are resources for the search, application, and interview processes. If your future plans involve graduate or professional school, there are many resources for the application process and trained counselors to work through the process with you.
