Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal

Add, Drop, Or Withdraw From Courses

The Difference Between Add, Drop, and Withdraw

Add/Drop is the period when you can change your schedule (without penalty) for a term. It begins the day you are eligible to register and ends at 11:59 PM on the deadline for your program and term.

The Withdrawal period begins after the Add/Drop deadline for your program. When you withdraw from a course, you receive a grade of “W” for that course.

  • Withdrawal deadlines differ based on the start date and length of the courses you are taking, or for the program you are enrolled in. Email studentrecordsfinancialservices@creighton.edu regarding withdrawal questions.
  • You may also file a case in CreightonConnect.

Instructions on this page are for Undergraduates or Graduate Students. who can

  • Add/Drop on NEST Registration page prior to the deadline.
  • You cannot withdraw from a course on NEST.  Please follow the "Withdraw from a Course" instructions below.

Students in other colleges must contact their Dean’s office for assistance.

Need assistance with registration (add/drop/withdrawal) questions not addressed above?  Contact Registrar@creighton.edu.
