Education and Training Required for Grant Applications

The following education and training courses are required for grant applications submitted through Creighton University, if applicable:

Sponsored Programs Bulletin

Sponsored Programs Administration publishes a monthly newsletter with information about policy changes, helpful tips for using InfoEd, and other items of interest to the Creighton community. We will post the newsletters here as they are published:

New Federal Award Recipient Meetings

Upon receipt of a new federal grant award, Sponsored Programs Administration staff in conjunction with Accounting Services meet with the Principal Investigator and their administrative support staff to review the following:

  • terms and conditions of the new award
  • roles and responsibilities of the Principal Investigator, Sponsored Programs Administration, and Accounting Services
  • regulatory requirements related to the new award 

New Faculty Meetings

Sponsored Programs Administration requests a meeting with all new faculty to obtain information regarding their research interests and to explain the process of submitting a research proposal at Creighton University.  We also provide an introduction to the services Sponsored Programs Administration offers during the preparation of a grant proposal and throughout the life of the grant award.

New Administrator Meetings

Sponsored Programs Administration requests a meeting with all new department administrators to explain the process of submitting a research proposal at Creighton University.  We also provide an introduction to the services Sponsored Programs Administration offers during the preparation of a grant proposal and throughout the life of the grant award.
