About the Program

The Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix Global Women's Health Fellowship is a two-year, non-ACGME approved fellowship program for Ob/Gyn physicians who desire advanced training in the delivery of women's healthcare around the world through a combination of clinical experience, education and mentorship. Because there is no one clear path as a global women's healthcare leader, our program utilizes multiple global and local partners to customize the experience of our fellows depending on their individual goals. While we anticipate fellows spending approximately half of their fellowship working abroad clinically with partners in Tanzania, China or Botswana, we have also developed a strong relationship with the Valleywise Health Women's Refugee Program and Maricopa County Department of Public Health for advanced training and experience in healthcare delivery to traditionally underserved populations in the greater Phoenix area.
