Assistant Professor-Tenure Track Position in Pediatrics

Description

Creighton University’s College of Nursing is seeking candidates for a 12 month, full-time, tenure track faculty position with acute care pediatric expertise for its Omaha campus. This is an on-site position for the undergraduate BSN program. The candidate must be able to supervise students in an acute care pediatric setting with the flexibility to also supervise students in community-based settings. Responsibilities include the teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in an acute care pediatric setting, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank.

 

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a doctoral degree and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care pediatrics. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction, and clinical supervision. The candidate must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.

Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
