

Professor Gloden Carlson joined the faculty of
Creighton University School of Law in 2024, where she serves as the Director of
the Health Law Program. She teaches courses in health law, health
information privacy, and health care organizations. She received her J.D.
from the University of South Dakota, where she was the graduate research
assistant to the General Counsel for the South Dakota Board of Regents, worked
at the Freedom Forum’ s Al Neuharth Media Center on projects advancing
journalism and education issues involving the First Amendment, held leadership
positions in the Native American Law Student Association, the ABA Law Student
Division and was an ABA Silver Key award recipient.
Following law school, Professor Gloden Carlson
worked in Federal Indian Law, Government Contracting, Compliance and
Socioeconomic Development for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s Ho-Chunk,
Inc. She then returned to higher education, serving as an Assistant Dean
at the University of South Dakota, and later served as Assistant Dean of the
University of Nebraska College of Law, while also teaching in the Undergraduate
Honors Program and College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Professor
Gloden Carlson also serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic
Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer at the University of Nebraska Medical
Center.
Professor Gloden Carlson focuses her academic
contributions on matters involving Health Law and Compliance, Research
Compliance, Research Integrity, and Conflicts of Interest.
