Verification of Eligibility
Upon check-in, all attendees must present proof of identification (driver's license, birth certificate or passport) and a signed course eligibility form (click here to download). The eligibility form MUST be filled out and signed by your supervising dentist. You will not be admitted to the course without both items, and no refund will be given. You may also email your eligibility form to the Office of Continuing Education at CMedEd@creighton.edu prior to the day of the course. Please call (402) 280-1830 if you have any questions.
Description
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the State of Nebraska to allow dental assistants to perform coronal polishing under the direct supervision of a licensed practicing dentist. One year of clinical work experience as a dental assistant is required.
Cost: $450
Instructors: Lisa Kucera, RDH; Laura Grabow, RDH
Method of Teaching: Lecture and hands-on skills lab. Day 1 of the program will be delivered in-person with audience participation. Day 2 will feature hands-on sessions in the dental school.
