Instructor – Nursing Faculty-BSN Program | Omaha Campus

Creighton University College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track instructor position.  The College welcomes applicants from all areas of nursing specialization, including but not limited to critical care, medical-surgical, maternal-child, psychiatric, pediatrics, or community/population health. This position is an on-site position for our Omaha campus.

Responsibilities include the delivery of didactic content in the classroom and clinical supervision of  undergraduate students in an acute care setting and/or community-based settings.   Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing.
  • An earned doctorate in nursing or related field is preferred.  
  • Candidates must possess 2 years of clinical nursing experience in their field. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction, and clinical supervision.
  • The candidate must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
