Global Education NEW

Learning That Serves the World

At Creighton University, global education grows from our Jesuit, Catholic commitment to walk in solidarity with others and engage the world with compassion, expertise and innovation. We prepare students to learn from diverse perspectives while applying their knowledge to real challenges facing communities locally, nationally and globally.

Through courses, programs and partnerships across the University, global learning becomes part of the Creighton experience for every student. The Global Engagement Office (GEO) helps create a hope-filled environment for intentional global learning, strengthening Creighton’s capacity to serve in solidarity with neighbors and nations and preparing reflective, informed and culturally competent leaders for a more just, sustainable and globally connected future.

The Creighton Global Initiative

The Creighton Global Initiative, overseen by the Office of the President, advances learning across borders by strengthening opportunities for students, faculty and staff to engage international and intercultural perspectives. Through philanthropic support, the initiative builds on Creighton’s longstanding programs—and launches new ones—to expand service, research and learning opportunities worldwide, grounded in Jesuit, Catholic higher education’s long tradition of connection beyond borders.

Office of Global and Community-Engaged Learning

The Office of Global and Community-Engaged Learning partners with local and global organizations to connect community-identified needs with Creighton courses, faculty and students. Through these partnerships, organizations can contribute to meaningful learning experiences while advancing work that matters to their communities.

Our Global Partnerships

Creighton University fosters a dynamic global presence through a wide range of partnerships and collaborations that support student learning, faculty engagement, research and service around the world. These relationships span universities, healthcare systems, nonprofits and industry partners across multiple regions and disciplines.
