Take the Next Step in EMS: Earn Your Master of Science in Paramedicine

The Master of Science in Paramedicine program is ideal for EMS and healthcare professionals with at least three years of experience in emergency medicine services. Students will recieve advanced EMS leadership training and gain the skills needed to move forward in their careers. This 36-credit, online paramedic degree can be completed in about two years. Most of these credits will be earned in core courses with curricula based on the current United States Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, National EMS Education Standards and Guidelines.

Admission Requirements for the Paramedicine MS Program

To be considered for admission, you must possess a bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher and have a minimum of three years of experience in EMS or a related field. Along with your application, you must submit the following:

  • Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended. Read more about sending transcripts.
  • Resume or curriculum vitae.
  • A personal statement. (See application for specific requirements.)
  • Three letters of recommendation who can speak to your performance in an academic or professional setting; these individuals should not be family members or friends.

Additional Requirements for International Students

International students are welcomed into this program if they complete it from their country of residence; F-1 visas will not be issued. International applicants must also meet English language proficiency requirements.

When to Apply to the Paramedicine MS Program

Students begin taking courses in the Paramedicine Online Degree Completion pathway in August. 

Applications must be submitted by July 15.
