Description

The department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Creighton University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor specializing in organic chemistry. We seek individuals committed to being outstanding teacher-scholars within a primarily undergraduate-serving college. The successful applicant will teach a 3-3 course load that includes 2^nd year core courses in  organic chemistry, as well as upper division elective courses in their area of expertise, depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Chemistry (or closely related field) is required
• Additional postdoctoral training or experience is preferred
•  Ability to foster student learning, development, and decision making in support of their goals, success, wellness, and needs
•  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations 
• Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others
