Experience Healthcare Where It Happens
Through our partnership with CHI Health, Creighton undergraduate and graduate students gain hands-on skills in some of Omaha’s most respected healthcare settings.
CHI Health is part of a national network that includes 140 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 21 states. In Omaha, health sciences students work alongside experienced clinicians and interdisciplinary teams, caring for patients at high-acuity hospitals, specialty units and community clinics.
Next to Creighton’s campus is the CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center’s University Campus, an 80,000-square-foot community health center that is helping to expand access to care in historically underserved neighborhoods. At the CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy, a Level I trauma center and the primary academic medical center for the School of Medicine, students experience advanced patient care in a leading clinical environment.
