Undergrad Admissions Requirements

Sow the seeds of success: apply to Creighton.

Join a community of passionate leaders committed to making the world a better place. We’re looking for students with passion. Students who serve their communities selflessly and lead confidently. You have worked hard to get here – now show us who you are and what matters to you.

Creighton looks at each individual’s application holistically. We do not maintain minimum score requirements for GPA or standardized tests, rather we take a comprehensive view of your entire application including your academic success, course rigor, community service outside of the classroom, and standardized test performance. Creighton considers superscores from both ACT and SAT. Your superscore is  the total of your highest section scores, even if they are from different test dates. We have no preference between the two exams.

As a Catholic, Jesuit institution, Creighton University encourages students to be aware of important social justice issues facing society today and actively participate in the conversation. For students who take part in peaceful protests on issues that are important to them, there will be no admissions ramifications.

The safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff are primary considerations at Creighton University. The Creighton University Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is published in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and Violence Against Women Act. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes and fires, as well as institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting, and other matters. This legislation seeks to make college campuses safer through the disclosure of such information, and to assist applicants in making enrollment or employment decisions based upon that criteria.
