Deposit & Class Reservation

Get ready to make the best decision of your life.

We know deciding which college to attend is a big, exciting decision. You’re not just enrolling in a top-ranked school—you’re joining a community.

At Creighton, we know you’ll fit in well with our community of learners, storytellers, go-getters, dreamers, and servants of good. Our faculty members are excited to teach you, to take you under their wings and help you thrive. You'll stay busy on campus, whether cheering with your friends at a Jays game or serving people in need around the world—all inspired by the Jesuit tradition.

You’ve worked hard and impressed us. We are thrilled to welcome the incoming freshman class of 2028. Log into your student portal to submit your class deposit and housing reservation. The deposit is $400 ($350 is essentially paying tuition early and $50 is a housing application fee) and is non-refundable.

Choosing Your College

If you decide on a college before the May 1 deadline, you are more than welcome to commit to an institution at that point. We’d be really, really happy if that school was Creighton! Either way, you will have a stress-free Decision Day if you have already chosen a school.

You can also let schools know if you aren't considering them anymore. We know, that can be awkward. However, as you narrow your list, you are encouraged to let schools know if they aren't on your radar anymore.

Submitting a deposit is stating your intent to enroll at that school. Since you can’t attend multiple institutions, it’s considered unethical. Institutions reserve the right to rescind an offer of admission if they discover the student has made a double deposit.

Everyone who deposits at Creighton by the May 1 deadline goes into the same housing lottery. Schools that don’t have room for all first-year students on campus must make housing deposits refundable if you decide not to enroll. They can’t use housing as a way to coerce making a non-refundable deposit.

If you have questions about submitting your deposit, contact your admissions counselor.
