Personalized Campus Visit

Recommended for high school juniors and seniors. Offered most weekdays. 

At Creighton, you won’t just be a number, and your visit will be just as personal. A typical visit lasts about 2 hours and includes a one-of-a-kind presentation highlighting Creighton's opportunities, a tour with a student and a one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor. When you sign up for a tour, indicate your desired major. There might be appointments related to your major for you to add onto your visit.

Bluejay Visit Day

We’re thrilled to invite you and your family to join us for a Bluejay Visit Day event in the summer or fall to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a Creighton Bluejay! Bluejay Visit Day events are held in the fall while classes are in session, making it a great way to get a feel for Creighton’s community. 

You will have a choice of breakouts, allowing you to tailor the day to your interests. Whether you’re interested in science, art, business or anything in between, we have something for everyone!

Saturday Info Sessions

Learn about Creighton from a small group presentation given by an admissions representative and a student panel discussion, followed by a student-led campus tour. This two-hour visit is offered select Saturdays at 10 a.m. CT. It’s great for students at the beginning of their search, including high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Virtual Tour

Can’t make it in person? Take a virtual tour of our campus! Join our student guides on a video journey across Creighton’s Omaha campus. You’ll see key parts of campus from a student’s perspective.

Nursing Virtual Info Session

Learn about our direct-entry nursing program, including the curriculum, academic support resources, clinical and preceptorship opportunities, study abroad opportunities, and more. Hosted by Kim Zuzenak, Assistant Dean in the College of Nursing. Parents are encouraged to attend. These virtual sessions are offered select Tuesdays at 6 p.m. CT.

Admitted Student Day

Each spring, all admitted undergraduate students and their families are invited to our Admitted Student Day, where you will get the chance to explore the opportunities Creighton has to offer. We’ll tell you everything you need to know - what to expect from a Creighton education, what your next steps are, understanding cost and financial aid, what our graduates are doing, and more!

To visit Creighton and learn more about graduate nursing programs and the accelerated bachelor of science in nursing, schedule an appointment.

To visit Creighton as a non-traditional student, contact admissions by email to schedule an appointment.

Group Visits

Creighton University's Omaha campus welcomes chaperoned high school groups and college access programs for visits. These visits are designed for groups of 10-50 students. Groups visits are available Tuesday through Thursday on most days the university is open. Available times vary by semester and can be found on the Group Visits Request Form.   

The visit includes an admission presentation and a guided campus tour. Visits last approximately 1.5 hours. You may also request a campus tour only. 

A few important notes:

  • Please submit a request form at least three weeks before your preferred visit date.
  • Creighton University policy requires one adult chaperone for every 15 students.
  • Our 30-minute admissions presentation includes general information about Creighton. This is followed by a 45-minute walking campus tour led by a current Creighton student guide. Please encourage your students to dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes.
  • If you have a special request, please contact our Events Team at admissionsevents@creighton.edu or at 402.280.2703.

You will be contacted within 2-3 business days regarding your request. Approved visit requests will receive a confirmation with details about the visit including the agenda, directions to campus, parking and where to meet.
