Radiology represents an extremely exciting and challenging medical subspecialty. It is the practice of radiology that brings primary and subspecialty care together utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to provide the highest level of medical care.
At Valleywise Health, this teamwork approach is the backbone for medical decision making and the department of radiology is no exception. Our emphasis on the team approach culminates in providing exceptional patient care while promoting research and medical education. Our radiology staff places a priority on resident and medical student education.
One question frequently comes up from prospective residents: What kind of residents do you have here at Valleywise Health? The answer is simple. Our residents are extremely intelligent, hardworking self-starters with great communication skills. They impress me every single day. I consider it a privilege to work with them.
