Student Board

The Student Honors Board is composed of students elected by fellow honors students.

President: Oversees all activities planned and executed by members of the Board and serves as the main liaison between the faculty of the Honors Council and the students of board.

Vice President of Operations: Aids the President in conducting Board business including all paperwork and administrative duties. The VP of Ops serves as second in command of full-board and executive meetings during the absence of the President.

Operations Committee: Assists with planning events specifically for the Board as well as to assist with organizing Board administrative tasks.

Vice President of Academics: Provides resources and support for all students of the Honors Program to ensure students are set for success in their academic and research endeavors.

Academics Committee: Assists with planning events and preparing academic-related resources for students of the Honors Program. 

Vice President of Student Affairs: Creates opportunities for students of the Honors Program to form relationships within each grade. Additionally, the VP of Student Affairs plans activities and provides resources for the well-being of all students within the Honors Program.

Student Affairs Committee: Assists with planning opportunities for grade-specific bonding as well as planning wellness events for students in the Honors Program. 

Vice President of Programming: Creates opportunities for students of the Honors Program to form relationships with peers throughout all grades.

Programming Committee: Assists with planning and executive events for students in the Honors Program.

Vice President of Public and Student Relations: Creates social media initiatives and marketing campaigns for the academic year that 1) showcase the Honors Program and, 2) engage current Honors students on social media platforms.In addition, this position holds the responsibility of serving as a point of contact between the voice of the Honors Student body and Honors Program faculty for any and all concerns.

Public and Student Relations Committee: Assists with creating content to post on the Honors Program social media sites. 

Class Representatives: Serve as the primary liaisons between each grade and the Board.
