Nicole Buczkowski attended Jacksonville University where she majored in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering and minored in History. She then pursued her PhD in Mathematics at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before joining the faculty at Creighton, she was a postdoctoral scholar at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Her research is in nonlocal models.
