Why do you think Creighton is special? I think Creighton is special for many reasons, but most notably because it invests so much time, energy and care into its students so that they can grow academically and personally. It pushed people to grow and become better versions of themselves every single day both in and outside the classroom. Creighton doesn't shy away from the fact that college will be hard sometimes, but regardless of what is happening in your life, there will be someone there to support you along the way.
Do you have any special advice or tips for applicants? Some advice that I have for applicants is to first be truly themselves in every aspect of the college admissions process. We want to get to know prospective students not just as students, but just as much as people. We love reading and hearing about things that they are interested in and passionate about. So, staying true to who you are is my biggest piece of advice and that will lead people to the place they are meant to be.
What do you like about Omaha and what are your favorite secret spots? I love Omaha because it is the perfect balance between having all of the opportunities and benefits of a large city, while also having that smaller town community and feel to it as well. There is so much fun stuff to do here and so many cool places to go see. Some of my favorite spots around town are the Heartland of America park/Riverfront, Aksarben Village (Inner Rail food court), Standing Bear Lake & Lake Zorinsky, Pitch Pizzeria, Memorial Park/Dundee and the Nebraska Crossing Outlets.
