

Sarah Knight is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Paramedicine at Creighton University, where she primarily teaches in the Omaha Fire Department satellite program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine from Creighton University and is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and Licensed EMS Instructor.
Her teaching focuses on cardiology, airway management, trauma, and scenario-based learning, and she is dedicated to preparing future paramedics with both clinical excellence and an emphasis on human dignity in high-stress care environments. Her clinical practice as a senior paramedic in rural Nebraska complements her academic work, bringing real-world application into the classroom.
Sarah’s scholarly projects include developing emergency medical dispatch training for county responders and creating continuing education curricula for rural EMS providers on topics such as airway management, sepsis, and pediatric trauma.
