"I think the two things that make Creighton so unique are being situated in Omaha and our strong Jesuit values. Omaha is a vibrant, student-friendly, Midwestern community. It is a perfect place to go away to college because it is so welcoming and the job opportunities are huge. Creighton is also strongly committed to Jesuit values, like caring for the whole person. This means that everyone you come into contact with at Creighton wants to see you and help you succeed."

Do you have any special advice or tips for applicants? Don’t be afraid to research and apply to a University that seems like a good fit for you, but maybe not all your friends have heard of. Many of the students that I have worked with in the past, might be the only one from their High School to come to Creighton, but they make great lifelong friends and have an amazing college experience.
Fun Fact: Although not an alumnae of Creighton, I was married in St. John’s Church on campus and lived in the residence halls for three years because my husband was a Resident Director. I love Omaha and named my Labrador retriever Eppley after the Omaha airport.
What do you like about Omaha and what are your favorite secret spots? I love Omaha and am thrilled to see the downtown area exploding with new growth and development. Right outside of the Old Market area is a little Italian neighborhood. The neighborhood church, St. Francis Cabrini, is one of my favorite worship spaces in town, and the best pizza in Omaha can be found at Orsi’s. It is an Italian bakery that also makes awesome pizza.
