Assistant Professor

Dr. Falah N. Rashoka, PhD, RN, MS, MPH, CPH is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at Creighton University College of Nursing. He holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an MPH in Health Promotion from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and an MS in Community Nutrition & Health Promotion. Dr. Rashoka’s interdisciplinary research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and smart health technologies to enhance chronic disease prevention, physical activity monitoring, and nutritional assessment, particularly among underserved populations. His recent work includes an AI-driven initiative to track physical activity and dietary intake using wearable technology and image recognition—supported by the Institute of Population Health—as well as a project utilizing AI to aid in the early detection of radiopharmaceutical biomarkers.
A recipient of the Nebraska Nurses Association's “40 Under 40” Award, Dr. Rashoka is committed to advancing health equity through digital innovation. His work bridges the fields of nursing, family medicine, technology, and population health to improve patient outcomes and expand healthcare accessibility in marginalized communities.

Research Focus
