Madalyn Romberger, MS, PhD
Teaching Assistant Professor
Madalyn Romberger is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Economics in the Heider School of Business at Creighton University.
She is an economist whose research examines how education and environmental policies shape student outcomes and human capital development. Her work focuses on the effects of school-based interventions and environmental exposures on academic achievement, student behavior, and educational equity, with research spanning education, labor, environmental, and health economics.
Originally from Sudlersville, Maryland, Dr. Romberger earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Delaware. While earning her Ph.D., she taught courses in principles of economics and business statistics and is dedicated to creating an engaging, inclusive, and data-driven classroom environment where students can connect their everyday lives to economics.
Outside of work, she enjoys home renovation projects, hiking, fishing, working on a plethora of 'project' cars, and spending time with her husband and cat.
