Catherine Elgin, Ph.D., Professor of the Philosophy of Education at the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University, will deliver the 2024 Henri J. Renard, SJ, Endowed Lecture in Philosophy. The title of Dr. Elgin's lecture is "Epistemic Agents."

Dr. Elgin has published widely in the fields of epistemology, aesthetics, and the philosophy of science. She has published numerous books including Considered Judgement, Between the Absolute and Arbitrary, and True Enough.
