Fellowship Programs
Advance Your Medical Expertise as a Creighton Fellow.
Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha offers fellowship programs in many specialties, including newly added fellowships in gastroenterology and family medicine obstetrics. Each of our fellowship programs is guided by faculty who are experts in their specializations and compassionate practitioners. You’ll have opportunities to mentor medical students, conduct research and gain specialized clinical experience.
Fellowship Programs
- Cardiovascular Disease: Receive comprehensive training in all major aspects of clinical cardiology, as well as basic and clinical cardiovascular research.
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: Expand your pediatrics training to include competencies in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Colon Rectal Surgery: Participate in a large variety of cases involving routine and complex problems and utilizing the latest technology.
- Critical Care Medicine: Prepare for a successful career through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to critical care medicine.
- Endocrinology: Gain advanced training and clinical experience in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Family Medicine – Obstetrics: Help meet the need for family medicine practitioners trained in obstetrics in areas where access to providers may be limited.
- Gastroenterology: Gain experience treating a wide variety of GI conditions.
- Global Surgery Fellowship: Meet the surgical healthcare needs of people in low-income countries through this new program.
- Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship: Prepare for a fulfilling career as a leader in hospice and palliative care through a combination of inpatient, ambulatory, home-based, and long-term care experiences.
- Infectious Diseases: Participate in the management of patients with infectious diseases and in interventions to prevent infections.
- Interventional Cardiology: Obtain clinical competence in coronary intervention.
- Methodist-Creighton Head and Neck Oncologic Reconstructive Fellowship: Gain comprehensive clinical experience in multidisciplinary care of head and neck center patients.
- Pulmonary and Critical Care: Provide outstanding care for patients with pulmonary diseases and patients in the intensive care unit.
