

Creighton & Community at Highlander will launch its Blood Pressure Hub on Monday, Aug. 10, to support community members in learning about and managing their cardiovascular health.
Join the Creighton & Community team for “Blood Pressure, Bingo and Berries” from 4-6 p.m. at 2221 N. 30 St., Suite 101, to celebrate the new hub, funded by a grant from the American Heart Association. Community members can access the station Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. without an appointment, making it a low-barrier and accessible resource for ongoing blood pressure monitoring.
The hub pairs self-monitoring tools with educational resources and referrals for care when necessary. Available resources include:
The Blood Pressure Hub is designed to empower community members to take an active role in their health through regular self-monitoring and education. It will also serve as a connection point to additional Highlander programs, including the Community Health Navigator program and other health education initiatives, helping ensure individuals receive the support they need beyond an initial screening.
