Pursuing a degree in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions provides benefits beyond our campuses and classrooms. Creighton’s programs offer educational experiences in our traditional, home campus in Omaha, Nebraska, a new, state-of-the-art health sciences campus in Phoenix, Arizona, and occupational therapy pathways in Anchorage, Alaska and Denver, Colorado.
With its diverse economy, affordable housing and access to service and professional opportunities, Omaha is an ideal city to call home while you pursue your degree. At Creighton, students have access to the amenities of a large city with the friendliness of a small town. In addition, they're enhancing their lives and making a difference in the lives of others through direct access to all that Omaha and Creighton have to offer—from community partners and service opportunities to professional organizations.
The 195,000-square-foot, interprofessional health sciences campus opened in 2021 at Park Central in midtown Phoenix. It is home to a vibrant community of healthcare professionals including future physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, pharmacists, and physician assistants who create a culture of interprofessional education that builds collaboration and connection.
Phoenix is a vibrant community with a population of over a million residents. Phoenix weather is one of the top reasons visitors and new residents are consistently drawn to the area. Creighton's infusion of health professionals comes at a crucial time for Arizona, which faces a boom in population and a shortfall in healthcare professionals.
Referred to as the last frontier, Creighton University's Doctor of Occupational Therapy program offers a hybrid pathway at the University of Alaska – Anchorage. The University of Alaska – Anchorage is the state's largest post-secondary institution. The campus is located in the heart of Anchorage—a city best known for trails, wildlife, and glaciers, and it is the state's cultural soul. The cultural appeals of Anchorage go far beyond the expected. You'll live and learn in one of the most diverse cities in the country and the largest in Alaska. You'll gain experience with a variety of patient populations, including Alaska Native people.
Known for recreation, the Denver area's main attractions are its majestic mountains and world-class skiing. The Rockies make Denver a hiker's paradise, with dozens of challenging trails within a 30-mile radius of the city. The Doctor of Occupational Therapy program offers a hybrid pathway partnering with Regis University. Regis University offers students a small community rooted in Jesuit, Catholic values similar to Creighton University's. For more than 130 years of tradition, Regis University's Northwest Denver (Lowell) Campus is the flagship location for the University. The campus is situated just northwest of the dynamic downtown of Denver.
