Educational Opportunity Center

The Educational Opportunity Center is one of the five federally funded TRiO programs under the Educational Opportunity Programs at Creighton University. TRiO programs are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to serve low-income, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities with the purpose of helping students through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.

Creighton's EOCoffers adult basic education courses and provides college enrollmentassistance to individuals who express a desire to begin or continuetheir post-secondary education. An important objective of the program isto counsel participants on financial aid options, including basicfinancial planning skills, and to assist in the college admissionprocess.
