The Educational Opportunity Center is one of the five federally funded TRiO programs under the Educational Opportunity Programs at Creighton University. TRiO programs are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to serve low-income, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities with the purpose of helping students through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
Creighton's EOC offers adult basic education courses and provides college enrollment assistance to individuals who express a desire to begin or continue their post-secondary education. An important objective of the program is to counsel participants on financial aid options, including basic financial planning skills, and to assist in the college admission process.
Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we are working from home.
The Educational Opportunity Center is open for business. All services are being offered via electronic means: telephone, email, zoom, facetime, etc. Please contact us today. We look forward to working with you.
