Your Career Toolkit

Handshake

One primary career resource available to Creighton students and alumni is Handshake, our online career management system. Handshake features a national network of employers, plus job and internship listings. It offers a personalized experience that connects job candidates and employers. Job seekers can use Handshake to:

  • Manage resumes, cover letters and other documents
  • Search and apply for jobs and internships
  • Schedule on-campus interviews
  • Access career fairs
  • RSVP for career events

Handshake Access and Help

Students and alumni may log in using their Creighton University BLUE credentials. Employers—or alumni without BLUE credentials—should select "Log in using Email and Password."

Hiration

Hiration Interview Practice is an AI-powered interview preparation platform designed to help students build confidence through realistic, mock interviews. Students can practice interviews tailored to specific job roles or resumes, receive instant AI feedback and improve across key areas such as communication, structure and content.

Key highlights:

  • AI-driven mock interviews based on role, resume or job description
  • Real-time, structured feedback on responses
  • Unlimited practice to build confidence and readiness
  • Easy, self-serve access for students

The goal is to help students walk into interviews more prepared, confident, and aligned with employer expectations.

Headshots for Students

The Career Center’s Headshot Studio offers free professional headshots for students Monday through Friday from 2–4:30 p.m. (Central) during the fall and spring semesters. Summer headshots are available by request.
