Jesuit Community

For the Greater Glory of God

St. Ignatius founded the Jesuit religious order more than 470 years ago with a commitment to several values, including finding God in all things. Today, Jesuit principles are infused into both the curriculum and student experience at Creighton to give you the best Jesuit education. On campus, members of the Jesuit community serve as instructors, University administration and staff, pastors and chaplains. Meet the members of our Jesuit community below.

To contact any of the Omaha Jesuits, please call or email Micki Dukat Brandt at mdukat@creighton.edu or 402.280.2783.

A Mission Lived Out in the World

“Our mode of proceeding is to trace the footprints of God everywhere, knowing that the Spirit of Christ is at work in all places and situations and in all activities and mediations that seek to make him more present in the world. This mission of attempting 'to feel and to taste' the presence and activity of God in all the persons and circumstances of the world places us Jesuits at the center of a tension pulling us both to God and to the world at the same time.”
