Major Requirements Include:

  • Consumer and Market Behavior
  • Marketing Research
  • Marketing Management: Policy and Strategy

Marketing Minor

Students interested in marketing can also consider the marketing minor. The marketing minor is open only to undergraduates outside of the Heider College of Business. Students might choose a marketing minor to complement a primary interest in advertising, public relations, data science, health administration, journalism, psychology or graphic design.

Choosing a marketing minor can help round out or add to another field of study. For example, pairing the marketing minor with advertising, public relations or graphic design will bolster a student’s understanding of business and strategic concepts that are useful in working with clients in a marketing agency. Or a student pursuing the Health Administration and Policy major might choose the marketing minor to increase their understanding of the marketing function of a healthcare organization.

The marketing minor is 18 credits.
