Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have finished an ACGME approved surgical residency and are board certified, or if within 1 year of residency completion are qualified to take the American Board of Surgery QE/CE examinations and pass the examinations during the first 4 months of the Fellowship.
If interested, applicants please provide the following documents via email to Ms. Katrina Brungardt, Program Coordinator at katrinabrungardt@creighton.edu.
- Documentation of a cumulative ABSITE score of > the 50th percentile
- A letter of reference from the applicant’s surgery department chairman
- A letter of reference from the applicant’s program director
- A personal statement about why you have chosen global surgery and what are your long term plans
- A current CV
Interviews
The interview process will include a visit with the fellowship director and clinical directors on the fellowship committee. An in-person interview or a Zoom conference will occur in the mid-academic year.
