Creighton University online programs earned six rankings in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs, announced today in the magazine’s annual edition on online higher education.

Creighton remains one of the best schools in the country for students pursuing an online master’s degree in Education, ranking 8th in the Best Online Master’s in Education ranking by U.S. News.

Other online programs recognized are: No. 15 in Best Online MBA General Management; No. 19 Best Bachelor’s; No. 31 for Online Graduate Business Programs (Excluding MBA); No. 37 in Best Online MBA; and No. 42 in Best Online MBA programs for Veterans.

“Now more than ever, Creighton recognizes just how important it is to meet learners where they are at in their busy and complex lives, which is why we are so proud of the breadth and flexibility of our online learning programs,” said Mardell Wilson, Creighton University Provost. “This fantastic recognition is due in no small part to the incredibly talented faculty teaching in our online programs.”

For the 2022 edition, 1,728 online degree programs were assessed and ranked 1,646 – both all- time highs. The rankings measure overall academic quality and are across varying disciplines including bachelor’s and graduate degrees in business, education, nursing, engineering and computer technology.

Only degree-granting programs at regionally accredited institutions offering courses entirely online were considered. U.S. News & World Report used reputation, student engagement, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, technology and other factors to determine its rankings. The rankings also included peer review data based on schools’ evaluations of each other.
