Winter courses follow a four-week accelerated format and are fully online, allowing you to participate from anywhere. Only undergraduate courses are available during Winter Session.
Winter 2026–2027 dates to be announced this fall.
Current students are encouraged to meet with an advisor about summer or winter courses, but it is not required.
All current students may enroll. Visiting students are also eligible. First-year students must request permission from their Dean’s Office to take winter courses by submitting the Override for Winter Term form.
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and labs. Instructors publish their attendance policies at the start of the term, and students are responsible for following them.
Although not all courses are open to auditors, current Creighton students may request approval to audit a course from the dean.
Students completing degree requirements in a Summer Session must submit a degree application in June. Degrees are conferred in August, and diplomas become available in mid-September. Summer graduates may participate in the preceding Spring Commencement.
Online courses can be accessed through BlueLine using your NetID and BLUE password. Please confirm that you meet technology requirements before registering for online or hybrid courses.
Schedule changes can be made in NEST through posted deadlines using your registration PIN. After deadlines pass, changes must be processed through the Registrar’s Office. Visiting students must contact the Registrar’s Office to register for classes and make any changes to their schedules.
Students transferring Creighton credits elsewhere must follow their home institution’s transfer credit policies. Always confirm transferability before registering.
Official Creighton transcripts may be ordered through the Registrar’s Office website. Creighton does not release transcripts from other institutions.
